The Club are saddened to learn of the death today of Mrs Jan Janes (Coedybrain). The Royal Kennel Club has today given permission to published the results of the 2024 Breed Health Survey. Our thanks to the Breed Health Coordinator, Pat Butler-Holley, for her hard work compiling the survey results.
The Officers and Committee of the Welsh Springer Spaniel Club are saddened to learn of the death of past chairman, Arlene Tester. Arlene was passionate about Welsh Springer Spaniels and supported the Club, its members, and Welsh Springer Spaniel owners over multiple decades. Our thoughts are with Arlene’s family and friends at this time.

Congratulations to Welsh Springer Spaniel “Matti” and owner Fiona Stevenson for winning the BASC class at Crufts for working gundogs. Showing the true dual purpose nature of the breed Matti was also placed reserve (4th) in a large open dog class in breed judging.
